When people’s lives depend on dialysis taking on the function of their kidneys, it is absolutely essential that they receive the best possible medical care.
That is why the engineer and company founder, Christoph Dumschat, set himself the target of providing doctors and medical staff in dialysis facilities with the necessary technology to provide dialysis concentrate in order to enable them to focus fully on their patients.
“We supply the best possible complete package”, says Christoph Dumschat, “but the best is only good enough if it takes future developments into account.”
It all started in his garage where graduate engineer Christoph Dumschat refined his idea to make it a practical reality. Gradually he built a powerful innovative team around him.
The company has long since left the garage and found optimal conditions for the expansion of the company in East Frisian Ostrhauderfehn. A milestone was the development and successful market launch in 2016 of the fully automatic “ECOMix-Revolution” system, which sets new standards for the future when it comes to dry concentrates in dialysis.
In March 2022, the company was acquired by B.Braun Melsungen. The full integration of Intermedt Medizin & Technik GmbH into the B. Braun Group completes the extensive product portfolio of the B.
