Intermedt Medizin & Technik GmbH, based in Ostrhauderfehn, is a subsidiary of B. Braun SE.
Intermedt was founded in 1997 by electrical engineer Christoph Dumschat and specializes in the in-house production of dialysis concentrates.
Our main product is the ECOMix Revolution system, which enables dialysis centers to produce dialysis concentrates directly on site. The patented process uses a cartridge, the ECOCart, to produce liquid dialysis concentrate for blood washing from dry concentrate. The ECOCart is filled with salts, glucose and acid at the Ostrhauderfehn site according to the customer’s desired recipe.
